Ways to Save Money on Text Books

Here are some easy tips on saving money on text books

Text books can be so expensive and you only use them for one semester! I have watched students spend 500-700 in books for one semester! That is crazy so we have assembled some ideas that we learned to avoid racking up high book bills!

  1. Try to borrow books from students that have had the class before
  2. Get the ISBN numbers and buy the books off of half.com and ebay.com
  3. Consider buying international editions because they are cheaper and only have a few changes
  4. Buy used editions of text books if your campus offers it
  5. Always sell books back at the end of the semester. If they are books from you major consider keeping them but otherwise get rid of them!
  6. Sell your text books back on amazon or half.com because you will get more money than if you sell them at your local bookstore will offer you.
  7. Start early on your search and get ISBN #'s from your teacher so that you can beat the rush!
