Time Management

Time management and organizational skills go hand and hand. Setting up a day planner is crucial. The advantage of having a day planner will help you with your time management because it will allow you to budget all of the hours in your day.

After the first semester you should be able to accurately estimate the amount of time you will need to study and complete assignments. In doing a day planner you need to strictly stick to your agenda.

We all know that things in life never go as planned and some days are better than others so you should add more time than needed so that you do not feel rushed or overwhelmed while doing assignments or studying.

It is also a good idea to put some motivation into your schedule. This will help keep you on track and not procrastinate or waste your time.

If you know that at the end of your study time you can play a video game or watch your favorite TV show then you will be less likely to get off track.

Always do assignments and studying first because then you can relax and enjoy your free time without having to be burdened with the thoughts of school work. You should always plan some TV or game breaks so that your brain can rest and relax.
